We all know (I know that I do) the impact our friend Bill Drennan had on our lives and much of the Catholic Diocese in Memphis.  

 

While on a recent retreat to Our Lady Queen of Peace Retreat Center, I felt nudged to have a room named in Bill’s memory for all he did around Memphis and especially the Cursillo Community.  Spoke to Steve Fracchia and as it turns out there is only one guest house room yet un-named – number 24.

 

I reached out to Ann Drennan to get permission to have this done, she is very much in agreement, and she gave me three of his favorite saints one of which is St Maximillian Kolbe, personally I like that selection.

 

For those that may or may not know, the naming cost for a room (money that is used to continue the work of the retreat center) is $5,000.00.

 

This is a heartfelt request if anyone is able and willing to help in securing this last room, to please send any donation amounts to the retreat center – make it known on paper or electronically that your intention of the funds to be used for the Bill Drennan room.
